Located near the historic Santa Fe Plaza, Niman Fine Art is home to the work of world renowned artist Dan Namingha and his sons, Arlo and Michael.

A rich spiritual and artistic tradition
Dan is from the Tewa-Hopi tribe, and has been showing professionally for over thirty years. He paints and sculpts the imagery of his homeland and his peoples, always with the integrity instilled in him by his depth of belief and love of spirit. Drawing and painting was a natural part of his Hopi childhood. It gave him a way to express his strong feelings about the culture and environment leading to a path of creative freedom. His distinctive work achieves a stunning balance of his native iconography with elements of abstract expressionism and other modernist styles.

Arlo Namingha began his artistic journey carving wood sculptures depicting pueblo ceremonies, and after eight years as a full-time studio artist, his Tewa and Hopi traditions still inform his work to a high degree. As Arlo's work has matured, he has come to explore his traditional native imagery in a minimalist style. He currently works in wood, clay, stone and cast and fabricated bronze.

Michael is the most recent Namingha to exhibit at Niman Fine Art. He creates his contemporary conceptual pieces in the medium of Digital inkjet images printed on canvas as well as numerous types of installations.
