A new concept for Art Galleries
Angel Fire ArtSpace opened its doors for the first time December 16, 2003. Opening a gallery in the middle of winter is generally not anyone's idea of perfect timing, but against the odds, Angel Fire ArtSpace has not only survived, but grown. Through the innovative ideas and marketing of owner Katherine McDermott, the only gallery in the remote resort town of Angel Fire puts a new twist on the idea of buying art. "Putting Art Within Reach", the motto or tag line of the gallery is the spirit of the gallery.
"That doesn't mean the art has any less value than other galleries, or by any means less quality. It also doesn't mean we're an auction house. It means the gallery has wide diversity of art and artists (most of them local). It means our customers are our priority and we work closely with them to ensure they have a rich experience and go home with the piece they've fallen in love with." (Katherine McDermott)
Whatever your passion, find it at the Angel Fire ArtSpace
With 32 artists, (including jewelers, potters and sculptors) the bigger challenge for them is keeping the gallery beautiful and uncluttered, but not sparse either. The gallery has monthly receptions the fourth Friday of the month. Put it on your calendar and come for a visit and spend the weekend in beautiful Angel Fire!
